Red underwear # 1/2 is a screen print in darkroom on black Montreal paper. What gives it a rarity, only prints of this work have been made. This print is part of the Au Féminin series, produced in 0 7, at Atelier les Mille Feuilles, printed art center, in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec. In this work, I think of the accessories that women wear to feel beautiful, desirable, attractive and good about themselves. I have represented feminine underwear often made of fine fabric and lace which highlights the forms of women and illustrates well femininity by the delicacy of the embroidery. The warm and lively color of red interprets seduction and contrasts with the black of paper, a medium with a velvety look.
